This is what we call an 8 inch sized masonry heater. It was constructed to heat a 900 sq/ft rather drafty house in the Asheville area. It was built with a utility brick. The heater includes a wrap around bench topped with counter top scraps. The owner(Joseph Crawley) is satisfied with the strove. The warm back rest is especially nice.
